PhilSys Check helps you verify identity details using available PhilSys inputs. You add it to your Trust Flow and configure it in the product Settings panel.
How it works
In your Trust Flow, configure which PhilSys inputs you accept, then choose whether to run an optional face compare step during verification.
- PCN — A Philippine identification reference you provide in your flow.
- QR Scan input — Data extracted from a PhilSys QR scan in your flow.
- Personal Data input — Personal details supplied by your flow.
Open Tool settings in the product settings modal. Under Verification settings, enable the inputs and optional checks shown below.
Verification settings
| Setting | Purpose |
|---|
| Accept PCN Input | When enabled, the user can enter a PCN number for PhilSys verification. |
| Accept QR Scan Input | When enabled, the user can scan a QR code for PhilSys verification. |
| Accept Personal Data Input | When enabled, the user can fill in personal data for PhilSys verification. |
| Perform Face Compare | The document photo will be compared to the biometric selfie photo. |
When Perform Face Compare is enabled, you can configure the thresholds (your users can change the scores by editing these values in the UI):
| Setting | Example | Purpose |
|---|
| Face Compare is Verified when similarity score is above | 70 | At or above this value, the face compare can be treated as verified. |
| Face Compare is Rejected when similarity score is below | 20 | Below this value, the face compare can be treated as rejected. |
The UI may show different default examples based on your account configuration. If you need help choosing thresholds for your risk policy, contact IDmeta support.
