The AU AEC Electoral data source validates voter record details using Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) information as part of your verification flow.

How it works

Processes

  • Voter Record Verification — Checks voter record details using the inputs you collect in your Trust Flow.

Inputs

  • Family Name — Your flow captures the individual’s surname.
  • Given Name — Your flow captures the individual’s given name.
  • Date of Birth — Used to match the voter record accurately.
  • State — Australian state or territory used for the search context.
  • Postcode — Postcode used to narrow down matching records.
  • Suburb — Suburb used to refine address-level matching.
  • Street Name — Street name used for address matching.
  • Street Type — For example, Street/Avenue/Road.
  • Street Number — Street number used for address matching.
  • Flat/Unit Number — Apartment or unit number, if applicable.
  • Habitation/Building Name — Building or habitation name, if applicable.
Required inputs and matching behaviour can vary depending on how you configure the verification step in your flow.
