Document Verification v2 (beta) is the next-generation document check in IDmeta. You add it to your Trust Flow and configure it in the product Settings panel. Behaviour and labels may change while the product is in beta.

How it works

Processes

When you configure this product, you choose which automated processes apply. Typical options include:
  • Document Details Reading (OCR) — Extracts text and structured fields from the document images.
  • Document Authenticity Check — Runs checks for tampering and authenticity signals.
  • Multi-side Document Verification — Validates front and back together when the document type requires multiple sides.
  • Blurry Image Detection — Flags or rejects captures that are too blurred for reliable reading.
  • Color and Liveness Check — Assesses colour and liveness signals on the document capture.
  • Face Matching with Selfie — Compares the document portrait to a biometric selfie when your flow includes both.
  • Barcode/QR Code Parsing — Reads and parses barcode or QR content when present on the document.
These appear as selectable processes when you configure Document Verification v2 (beta).

Inputs

The captures your flow collects are:
  • Document Front Side Image — The primary image of the document.
  • Document Back Side Image — The reverse side when the document type or Require Multi-Side Document Upload expects it.
