# Trust Flow Links

> Learn about Trust Flow Link types, how to create them, and when to use them.

Trust Flow Links allow you to share a Trust Flow with users through a URL. When someone opens the link, they can access the configured Trust Flow and complete the verification process.

You can choose from three link types depending on how you want to distribute the link, how many times it can be used, and whether it should expire.

## Types of Trust Flow Links

### 1. Direct Link

A Direct Link is a permanent link to the trust flow that will remain active until Trust Flow is deleted.
.

**Key characteristics**

* Permanent link that can be reused.
* Suitable for embedding in an application or platform using an iframe, where supported.

**When to use it**

Use a Direct Link when you want users to access the same Trust Flow repeatedly without generating a new link for each person.

**Example scenario**

You want to integrate a trust flow into your company's website or application. You can use the Direct Link as the destination for an embedded verification experience or a button that opens the Trust Flow.

### 2. Single-Use Link

A single-use link that will be consumed and unusable after a completed verification process.

**Key characteristics**

* Intended for a specific individual.
* Can be configured with an expiry.
* Designed for one-time use.

**When to use it**

Use a Single-Use Link when you need to send a verification request directly to a particular person.

**Example scenario**

Your support or onboarding team needs a customer to submit an identity document. Generate a Single-Use Link and send it to the customer by email. The customer opens the link and completes the verification process.

### 3. Time-Based Link

Link stays active for the selected date and time and allows multiple uses within the duration.

**Key characteristics**

* Can be shared with multiple users.
* Has an expiry time.
* Suitable for links that need to be rotated or replaced periodically.

**When to use it**

Use a Time-Based Link when you want multiple users to access the same Trust Flow during a defined period.

**Example scenario**

Your company is running an onboarding campaign for a group of users. Share a Time-Based Link with the group while it is valid. Generate or distribute a new link when you need to rotate the link.

7. Generate the link and copy the generated URL.
8. Share the URL through your chosen channel, such as email, your application, or your website.

The available settings may differ depending on the selected link type and your Trust Flow configuration.

## Important Considerations

* Choose a link type based on how many times the link should be usable and whether it needs to expire.
* Check the expiry settings before sharing a link that is time-sensitive.
* Confirm that the link is associated with the correct Trust Flow before sharing it.
