# MY UBO

> Identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) for Malaysian company structures.

MY UBO helps you determine the **Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO)** of Malaysian companies as part of your KYB flow.

## How it works

UBO checks typically use company registration and ownership information to build an ownership structure and determine which individuals should be treated as UBOs.

## Tool settings

Open **Tool settings** in the product settings modal.

### Threshold

Set the numeric cutoff used to decide whether an ownership link is strong enough to be considered relevant in the UBO determination (for example **25**).

### Layers

Set the depth of ownership traversal (how many levels of ownership the system follows) when building the ownership structure (for example **10**).
