# Medicare Card Verification

> Verify Australian Medicare card details against health authority databases.

The **AU Medicare Card** data source helps you validate Australian Medicare card details against health authority databases as part of your verification flow.

## How it works

### Processes

* **Medicare Card Validation** — Validates the Medicare card details using the inputs you collect in your Trust Flow.

### Inputs

* **Name 1** — The first name line captured by your flow.
* **Name 2** — The second name line captured by your flow.
* **Name 3** — The third name line captured by your flow.
* **Name 4** — The fourth name line captured by your flow.
* **Card Number** — The Medicare card number used for lookup.
* **Card Expiry** — The expiration date shown on the card.
* **Card Type** — The Medicare card type for the record.
* **Individual Reference Number** — The individual reference number used with the card record.
* **Date of Birth** — Used to match the correct card record.
