# Death Certificate Verification

> Authenticate Australian death certificates through official channels.

The **AU Death Certificate** data source helps you authenticate Australian death certificate records using official channels as part of your verification flow.

## How it works

### Processes

* **Death Certificate Verification** — Validates death certificate details using the inputs you collect in your Trust Flow.

### Inputs

* **Family Name** — The deceased’s surname.
* **Given Name** — The deceased’s given (first) name.
* **Date of Event** — The date of death (or equivalent event date).
* **Registration Number** — The death certificate record registration number.
* **Registration State** — The state/territory where the record was registered.
* **Registration Date** — The date the record was registered.
* **Certificate Number** — The certificate identifier/number.
