# Citizenship Verification

> Authenticate Australian citizenship certificates with official records.

The **AU Citizenship** data source helps you authenticate Australian citizenship certificates using official records as part of your verification flow.

## How it works

### Processes

* **Citizenship Certificate Verification** — Validates citizenship certificate details using the inputs you collect in your Trust Flow.

### Inputs

* **Family Name** — The applicant’s surname.
* **Given Name** — The applicant’s given (first) name.
* **Date of Birth** — Used to match the correct citizenship record.
* **Stock Number** — The citizenship certificate stock/reference number.
* **Acquisition Date** — The date the citizenship/acquisition was recorded.
